How to make the graphics view fit the drawings I have made
I am new to Geogebra, hence my question in the beginners part of this forum :wink:
I would like to use Geogebra in the following way:
1) I create several points with given coordinates.
2) I fit the graphics view so that all points are visible on my screen.
3) Now I start working with the points I have created (creating lines, circles, calculating intersection points, ...)
The problem is that I don't see a way for executing point 2), and this is pretty crucial: the points I am working with, have X coordinates between -5000 and 5000 and Y coordinates between -12000 and 12000.
I could obviously have a look at my points and modify the preferences according to them, but I wonder if there is an automatic way to do this.
Can anybody help me?
In case this seems not to be possible, I have already found a start of a workaround:
In the graphics view, the names of the points I have created are 'Cp', 'Fp' and 'Tp' (center, front and terminating point of a circle segment).
While copying the names of those points in the spreadsheet view, I have seen that those names get replaced by their coordinates, so now I could try to find a formula for finding minimum and maximum X and Y coordinates and apply those to the preferences of the graphics view, but there obviously a second issue pops up:
Now my example consists of just 3 points, which makes it very easy to copy their names to the spreadsheet. However in future I might be working with extended graphics, containing lots of points, which makes it quite time-consuming copying their names one by one to the spreadsheet view. Is there a way to copy all objects to the spreadsheet view automatically?
