I would like to create a simple applet for my year 10 class to illustrate the domain and range of a continuous function but I can only find the turning point and that help with the local max/min. The attachment show a section of a function and its domain but I need to find the Global max/min to determine the Range of it.
Could you please help me with this? . . .if that is possible :)

para funciones normales (que tengan una cantidad finita de extremos y que no estén cerca unos de otros ) puedes hacer la lista de maximos y de minimos en una particion del intervalo y luego decidir cual es el maximo y minimo absolutos
