How to export graphics view to clipboard??

I have just started to try to learn how to use GeoGebra, with the main purpose being to incorporate graphs in quizzes, exams, and Powerpoint slideshows. I have read the online help which suggests that this is as simple as:

file>export>graphics view to clipboard

However, I can't find any "export" command at all under the file menu. Isn't it referring to this??

I tried share, save and download as, none of which allowed me to copy to the clipboard. I do NOT want to have to save the image, I want to copy it to my clipboard so that I can drop it into Word or Powerpoint.

What am I missing?? TIA!

Hola, Debbie.

Hello Jorge - thank you for the help. I was using the Windows App, and didn't realize that the desktop version was something different! I have downloaded the desktop version, and now I am able to copy to the clipboard! It certainly is confusing to have different functionality in different versions.

Thank you!!

Genial.

En mi opinión también es confuso que hagan diferentes versiones para distintos dispositivos, deberían dejar todo igual a la versión 5.0 de escritorio. Saludos.

or you could also do file -> Download as and choose jpg

Indeed, but as I said above, I do NOT want to have to save the image as a separate file. I want to take it straight to the clipboard, and then drop it into Word or Powerpoint, as needed.

I think that works only on the desktop version :(

@Debbie: it would be very difficult for the developers to figure out which part of the screen you need to capture! The best alternative is to use a screen capture tool. I find one note to e the most effective..

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. I want to capture the visible workspace window. It works fine now that I got the desktop version. :)

Please try the new version 6.0.442.0. You can use <Ctrl><Shift>C and also Edit -> Copy to Clipboard

Only in the offline version though
