How to draw the curve of f(x) = log(x)

Hi all friends ,

You can draw the curve of f(x)=log(x) by using the formula :


log(x)= ln(x) / ln(10)


To get this formula :

let log (x)= y then 10^y = x

then y. ln(10) = ln(x)

then y = ln(x) / ln(10)

then

log(x) = ln(x)/ln(10)

Logarithm (natural, to base e) ............ln( ) or log( )

Logarithm to base 2 .........................ld( )

Logarithm to base 10 .......................lg( )

Logarithm of x to base b ..................log(b, x )

log(x)= ln(x) / ln(10)

can be done with log(b,x), most modern calculators and software have this functionality.


All of these can be graphed.
