How to calculate the arc length of a segment of a parameterized curve in 3D?
Answered
I would like to calculate manually, perhaps using the partial derivatives with respect to x and y and PT, the length of the segment of C spanning from points A and B.
How can I set things up to use the integral function?
Please note that I am not looking for built-in functions for length.
I have seen posts on this operation in 2D, but not in 3D.
