The question is rather: how to create a matrix with manually entered values in the Algebra View.

If the matrix has a limited dimension, then the spreadsheet is a good option.

Alternative: with three InputBoxes (i,j,value) into a matrix ma initialized with 0 and then continue as Version03

Thanks rami, what if the every entry of matrix a_ij can be add manually and (-1)^{i+j} just change the sign of entries.
