How do I prevent Geogebra from updating automatically ?

Hello,

After installing version 205, I decided to go back to version 203.

I uninstalled version 205, deleted all the geogebra stuff in Roaming and proceeded to reinstall version 203. It only takes a few minutes before my version 203 becomes version 205.

I'd like version 203 to remain the version in use until I manually decided to upgrade it. How do I do this ?

Thank you Simon, that was a really good suggestion. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it work.

No matter what I do, I end up with version 207 again. I added keys to the registry but maybe not the right way since I am not getting the desired results.

What surprises me is that I didn't have this problem until I installed version 207. Now it seems impossible to go back to a previous version.

Hi John

Try with portable version

(maybe uninstall the installed GGB and give a new default program for ggb to the portabel version)

Before I got to read your suggestion, I found a solution. I installed version 203 in a virtual machine that didn't have internet access then, after starting it multiple times and configuring it the way I want, I simply copied that GG installation to the machine I normally use. Now it is staying put at 203.... finally! :-)

I guess the result of doing the above is probably similar to installing the portable version. I couldn't install the portable version because I don't have v203 portable, I only have the normal install executable (fortunately, I kept that old version around.)
