How would you make this construction and find the side length of the equilateral triangle using Geogebra? Do you need scripting?
ABC is an equilateral triangle where that there is a point P inside the triangle such that AP = 3, BP=4, and CP=5 What is the side length of AB?

Bonjour ,
Cordialement
How would you do it without knowing that APB is 150 though
une possibilité
I dont know
How do you open a .ggb file lol
Solve a system of equations supposing the triangle (1,0)(-1/2,sqrt(3)/2)(-1/2,-sqrt(3)/2); (x,y) centre of circles with radius 3k,4k,5k. Then you can get two circles eliminating k, the intersection of circles are the centres of circles (two solutions, one inside, one outside). Then enlarge the triangle until distances are 3,4,5
I do not understand how you got 150º because other angle is 113.1301°. was it by chance?
And one more way
Some simple proof that a==l ?
PD: answer: a simple rotation of 60º did the proof
Avec de la couleur et sans calcul
