in the past I have not experienced any issues on my desktop displaying graphs through Chrome. what are some reasons why it may not be working as well anymore? my desktop seems to be in fine order too. is GeoGebra only running in a 64 bit environment?

Hi Patrick!

I'm not sure about what you expect to see, but I think there are two aspects.

First, you have one plane twice.

Plane f will shown as a raster of lines, plane a in "pure fading style" and so you have an overlay of these two display formats.

You can see it better by watching directly "from above" of the plane.

Change the display format(s) in a better way for you, e. g. both planes in pure fading style or your other preferred style and your problem will be solved ... I think.

Hi!

I am posting two images for another GeoGebra app that was made. The first image (Capture 1) is from the desktop that is having the graphics rendering issues. It is very certain that the machine is causing the issues, since in the second image (Capture 2), which is taken from one of the students' Chromebooks, has no issues at all. In the weaker image, one can see lack of precision and many colours that are not expected to be there; this never happened when I opened the app, say, last year. You can see colours are "bleeding" into some other colours.

It is almost 100% probable that it is the desktop that I am working on. My question is why is this happening now, because for two years there have been no issues at all. Has the amount of processing power required to run GeoGebra increased? Is GeoGebra now running in a 64-bit environment or has this always been the case? Any helpful hints on what I can do on my end would be great.

perhaps the graphics driver must be updated

or maybe a new graphics card driver has a bug. Either try updating or downgrading your graphics card driver.

Maybe also check hardware acceleration in chrome://flags

Hello! Thank you all for your help. It was the graphics card and the driver.

Again, thanks so much!
