Gradually drawing a trace/locus

Hello,

I have this vector which spirals from within a sphere and I want it to gradually draw the trace. "Show trace" shows discrete points no matter how fine I make the increment, and locus draws the trace all at once. Right now, for the locus I am using point "B" and slider "a".

So I want something that gradually draws like trace, but draws a continuous line like locus.

I've attached the file but here's the link too: https://www.geogebra.org/3d...

I'd appreciate the help, thanks!

YES! That's exactly right. Thanks a ton!

To make the transition smoother change the increment of the slider a to 0.01. Cheers! :)

polar coordinates are very suitable for this application.

note the ";" in the definitions.

Indeed it is very suitable, and simplyfies the scrit too. :) I will add it to my file too. Thanks for sharing @rami :)
