I am using the latest GeoGebra windows desktop version.
I think you are using version 5 of GeoGebra Classic to create the animated GIF, not version 6.
I was able to obtain the animated GIF, and after that GeoGebra shows the wheel and it's possible to close it only using the Task Manager (Windows).
Please confirm if this is the behaviour you get and if you are using v.5

What's the optimal time interval between two frames?
If it's too slow then you need to reduce one or both of
How can I reduce the number of frames? And kindly tell me what value should I set to the "Time between Frames" in milliseconds?
Make sure your slider has fewer steps (so increase the increment)
Okay, Thank you.
Probably this depends on the timing you set for the frames. Using defaults I got it in a reasonable span of time (but the gif is veeeery slow...)
Yes. I set 50ms and wait unreasonably long.
By thw way, there is no "export as gif" in Classic v6, right?
Sorry, no. Right now it's not implemented
