Instead of having the Geogebra task/activity post in Google Classroom as an assignment, is there a way to save it as a draft so I can schedule the assignment and possibly assign it to specific students later?

I agree! I love that I can share it to classroom but I want to be able to schedule the assignment so I don't have students rushing ahead, and I don't have to remember to jump in and share right before each class.
I read somewhere that this feature was going to be added soon, but that was back in March and I still have not seen it. I love Geogebra but have been having to use ASSISTments instead since I can schedule assignments to be released at a later date.
I am in desperate need of this as well!!! Especially now with some kids in the classroom and some remote and some hybrid...

I've looped your feature request to the developers.
"Save as draft" is on the roadmap for the current school year and is scheduled for early 2021. :)
