Geogebra 6 install problems
I am looking for help with some installation problems using GeoGebra 6 Classic on Windows 10. All Computers are in an AD structure, and GeoGebra should be installed for all AD users on certain machines (some users using folder redirection for "Desktop" and "Documents").
My problems are:
Using the "mass installation" as described in the wiki (https://wiki.geogebra.org/e...), no Link to start GeoGebra is created; program files end up in appdata\local\Geogebra of the installing user, what is not helpful for other AD users
Using the offline installer .exe, it works for the installing user, but only if there is no folder redirection for the desktop, otherwise the link is not created. Also, at some point the installer requires privilege elevation (although installing only to appdata/local and %userprofile%\desktop??), so it's no possibility to distribute this installer to all users.
My last idea would be to bypass the installer altogether and just distribute files and link through a user-linked group policy, but this would probably ruin the update mechanism?
If someone could point me in the right direction, any help is appeciated...
