FormulaText[<some object>, false] does not seem to work

Hello,

The attached worksheet shows an example of the expression FormulaText[<some object>, false] not returning the definition of the object. This happens with a number of object types not just the one shown in the example.

Hi Noel,

I see what you are saying but, even using a variable, it still doesn't work. Not even using a variable and a function as the attached worksheet shows.

No FormulaText in this file...

and all is ok...

The documentation states:

FormulaText[ <Object>, <Boolean for Substitution of Variables> ]

Returns the formula for the object as LaTeX text. The Boolean variable determines if values are substituted for variables (true) or if variable names are shown in the text (false).

In the worksheets I posted, FormulaText is not returning the formula for the object.

That's fine but, the documentation of FormulaText does not place a restriction on which objects it can be used.
