Exam mode fails in Vivaldi browser

Not a Problem

When starting the Exam mode in the Vivaldi browser, the red flag is immediately raised.

The difference between Google Chrome and Vivaldi, is that Chrome first switches to full screen mode (F11) and then starts GeoGebra in Exam mode. Vivaldi fails to switch to full screen mode after which the GeoGebra Exam mode discovers some tab switch or window switch and sets off the alarm.

I've raised the issue with the Vivaldi development team, but it could also be that the code that makes the browser switch to full screen mode is at fault. I'm not into hacking web page code, but I am rather keen to have this issue resolved. Could the development team share with us the piece of code that is used to make the web browser switch to full screen mode? Maybe then I can persuade the Vivaldi team to further look into this.

As an interim solution, GeoGebra could add a small instruction to the Exam Mode Setup popup: "First press F11 for full screen mode". This would bypass the issue in the short term.

Sorry, we don't support Vivaldi

I figured that out as much. My question therefore was different.
