Error when loading Geogebra
Hello,
I've installed Geogebra 4.0.34 from the debian sid repositories. However when I launch it, it crashes during the splashot with the following errors. Do you know how to solve it? Would it be possible to update the debian package to avoid this problem?
Thank you,
tobiasBora

GeoGebra 4.0 is no longer supported. Please install GeoGebra 5.0:
https://wiki.geogebra.org/e...
or try out the new GeoGebra Math Apps (download links are also on the page above)
Thank you for your answer. By the way, is it normal if the page https://download.geogebra.o... is empty ? (Tried on both Firefox and Chromium)
And what is the difference between Geogebra 5.0 and the Math Apps ? Will Geogebra 5.0 still be maintained, or are all efforts now directed on the Math Apps ?
Sorry, the link https://download.geogebra.o... should be working again.
Currently GeoGebra 5 has the same "kernel" as GeoGebra Math Apps, so all bugfixes / improvements for the computations are also included in GeoGebra 5; we still provide updates of GeoGebra 5 every week or so. On the other hand all the UI development is focused on Math Apps, so eg problems in GeoGebra 5 related to buttons / dialogs layout are not going to be addressed.
