Needs Answer

Dear

after the error 'Cannot upload to GeoGebraTube -- Error Code 500'

I did a full reinstall of Klassiek 5. (on two different computers) Despite of this reinstalling I always have an error by sharing my geogebrafile. A link is made of the worksheet, but only a blanck sheet is opening after clicking the link. The title is visible, but not the figure.

Thanks for helping me. JM Dendoncker

Does it help if you delete this folder before full reinstall?

c:\Program Files\GeoGebra 5

Dear Michael

I did tree things without any results

1. full re-installation

2. unistall geogebra and full reinstallation

3. delete c:\ProgramFiles\geogebra 5 and full installation

the error message still remains.

Opening the blanck worksheet (only the title is visible) witk CTRL Shift J shows the following message

initonpopstate called

Sorry, I think you'll have to upload here:https://www.geogebra.org/wo...

Sorry Michael the problem still remains. I tried a test. (test mag weg) After making a simple ggbfile I could upload the file on Geogebratube. It was also possible to upload an old ggb file (H2. Oef 2.6v date 23/10/2016) to the Geogebra tube. So I suppose that the problem is specific to the file I wanted to upload.

I will make this file completely new and will try to upload that new file. Work for next week. I let you known the result.

PS Maybe this can help you: on geogebratube I see all my material I share with the students. as a picture of the applet. The wrong uploaded files (5 files) show the same icon/picture. See print screen below "algemene logistische functie".i.e. the file a can't upload.

Thanks for all. sincerely JM

If it's just a specific file that doesn't work please upload it here (or email it to support@geogebra.org)

Michael

I uploaded the old file -> error of course it was the old file

I remake the same file for just the half -> I can upload the half file see my material on the tube

I continue on the same file and add 2 more functions -> now it is not more possible to upload the file

If you can see my material, the first and third file are bad the second (testHalf) is OK and I can see the correct figure.

NOTE +/- 2 years ago I could upload the same old file correctly. But I did a texttypo in the old file which was the reason I wanted to upload the same old file without typo . And, a stupid boy I am, I deleted the first original uploaded file on the tube.

Which two functions?

y_{D0}, y_{D<0} and y_{D>0}

Does it help if they have different names?(just wondering if the < and > are causing problems somewhere)

Michael,

I will try a testversion with different names for y_{D0}, y_{D<0} and y_{D>0}. I suppose that this names are not the problem as I could upload an old file idetical to the new file. Same names, same function ...

Dear Michael

Problem fixed!! Indeed the notation y_{D<0} and y_{D>0} for the two functions are the reason that I could not share my file. I renamed the functions as y_{Dneg} and y_{Dpos}.

Now I experienced no problems any more. The file is properly uploaded and shared.

Thanks a lot for helping to solve the problem.

Sincerely, JM Dendoncker
