Ellipsoid surface

I am trying to create an ellipsoid that can be rotated in several ways. I have plotted the 6 cardinal directions, as well as the cross-sections perpendicular to the X, Y and Z axes. However, how do I plot the cross section that is perpendicular to the viewing direction? Using an equation would be preferable. Thanks.

I was able to figure it out. (Except for when you change the "yaw_2" slider. I left that part unfinished.)

The formula for the outer boundary is kind of messy, and cobbled together from measurements I made in other parts of the design. I'm sure it could be made more simple and elegant.

why not in 3Dgraphics? do you want to use the 4.4 version?

I am using GeoGebra Classic 5.0.481.0-d (19 July 2018).

I need it to be 2D because I will copy the coordinates and equations into some TeX graph. (Not sure which library yet.)

pero si giras un elipsoide alrededor del eje de longitud media en ningun momento la visual de la seccion que pasa por los vertices se verá en forma de circulo. así que la visualizacion en pitch=0º y yaw_1=135º es errónea

pensaba que con 3Dgraphics nunca más tendría que usar estos enlaces, pero creo que te gustará ver el magnifico trabajo que Rafael Losada realizó hace 10 años para estas páginas.
