Can GeoGebra allow users to set dynamic background colors for text objects? or allow to set the opacity of the background colors for text objects? Thanks.
I guess it is.
But it depends on how you want the background colour to be changed. The SetBackgroundColor command can be useful for that.
See e.g. the attached file. Move A: if x(A)>0, the background colour of the text is different.
Right click on A, then have a look at the Scripting-OnUpdate tab of the point
you've got some options with the command SetBackgroundColor.
In it you can define the parameters for the colors dynamic.
In the command SetDynamicColor there's an option with opacity as parameter, but not in the command SetBackgroundColor.
Thanks. It would be best if RGB and opacity input fields are provided for text backgrounds.
If you explain more in detail how you want the background color to be modified, maybe someone here can provide a suitable solution...
Thank you for your reply. I am preparing an "matching" exercise. I want the background colour of a text changed when it is dragged to certain positions. I can do this with on-update scripts. I am just "greedy" and hope to use less scripts.
