There's a Point E In a Pyramid(A,B,C,D), Distance(E, faceABC) != Distance(E, Plane(A,B,C)), Why?

Distance() returns distance to the perimeter

https://wiki.geogebra.org/e...( <Point>, <Object> )Yields the shortest distance between a point and an object.Did I misunderstand? Distance to the perimeter may not be the shortest distance between a point and an object.
