For maths I need to know how to find the shortest distance between a parabola and a point. I've thought about it but I can't figure it out. Can anybody help me?
I'm quite new to Geogebra so I don't yet know what everything does.

You can find the distance between a point A and a parabola c with Distance[A, c].
If you want to show the point on the parabola that has this shortest distance, you can draw a circle with midpoint A and the distance as radius.

You can also use B = ClosestPoint[c, A]
