Disappearing surfaces of revolution in 3D as a result of zoom

Hi all,
Thanks in advance for any help.
I have traced a 2D photo using functions, and now I am attempting to use the 'surface' command to rotate those functions about the x-Axis for form a 3D object. However, when using the surface command to rotate some functions, the surface of it becomes completely invisible/disappears completely when I zoom OUT.
I have attached the file with both the function, and its resulting object from the 'Surface' command, rotated 2pi about the xAxis. When zoomed out any further, the object disappears...
