difference between inputbar and inputfield in GG6 when calculating fractions
New
When I show the large input bar in GG6 and type 2/8 - 3/5 the result is calculated as intented. When I hide the input bar and use the inputfield in the Algebra view, the cursor doensn't manage to get out of the nominator of the first fraction without using brackets as (2/8)-3/5. Nor a space neither a tab key can get the cursor out of the nominator.
I would appreciate the two to give the same result and to work the same way.

Thanks for pointing this out. You should be able to use right arrow to get out of the denominator, or as you mentioned the right bracket. We will make sure <tab> does the same as right arrow.
I'm afraid text input and graphical input must work in a different way as in graphical input you want to have 1/(x+1) displayed without the brackets in denominator.
thanks for the answer. I wasn't aware of the difference in nature between both, thought the smaller input bar just saved place on the screen, as the much discussed menu displacement does.
