Is it possible to make an ellipsoid in GeoGebra 3D? I couldn't find any information on the Release Notes page or other tutorials from the web. I could only find information related to ellipses.
I would expect it to be under sphere tool. I also tried making it by typing the ellipsoid expression but it doesn't work either.

Thank you very much. That's exactly what I nedeed.
One more question, please.
How can I create a plane to intersect with this ellipsoid surface? I was doing plane intersection with a sphere, I was using object-object intersection, but it doesn't seem to work in this case (when I try to create an intersection between a plane and this ellipsoid surface it says it's not valid). Is there a way around?
Hi,
It's not implemented, so you can't - unless you know a parametric equation for the intersection curve.
Cheers,
Mathieu
