See also http://wiki.geogebra.org/en...

for a list of all supported functions that allow you to swap immediately between degrees and radians.

e.g. sin(30°) gives you 0.5 and sin(30) yields -0.99, because the angle in the second syntax is meant in radians, regardless of your global settings.

Same for inverse trig functions: atan(1) gives 0.79, and atand(1) yields 45°.

Calculating between degrees is not a problem in any version. But in GG6 I can't find anywhere an equivalent of Options -> Advanced Preferences as in GG in which I can toggle between degrees and radians a preset option, or change the default style for right angles.

I don't see it in the Edit Menu as Noel suggested. So if it's there nevertheless, can you show me?

I can not find the 4th options either. (6.0.355, win10, english version)

PS: the menu of ggb6 is a maze (not amazing).

Noel

I just did a new download:

ae6b3f985f48f306d9317f265fa89fe3

following the steps you described, I get this result in the menu:

11adc034351db56d3d59ef7293a03ac4

This view lacks thw two last items of your screenprint: the unit degrees/radians and the coordinate style.

As this is the most recent version I can download, we're definitely using different versions, and you"re using a more elaboreted one.

Secondly in your version to there"s no option for right angle style, which I liked very much in GG5.

so that's it! Didn't think that 'on' or 'off' would make the crucial difference here.

Hope it will be implemented offline to.

thanks
