Convert user-input parametric equation in terms of 't' to in terms of 'x' f(x)
Answered
Hi!
I would like to convert a student-input parametric equation (via input box) in terms of t into one that is in terms of x.
For example, student inputs "x = cos (t)" and "y = sin (t)" into an input box.
I would like to convert the "cos (t)" function into f(x) = cos (x) so that I could then find its min and max values to re-scale the axes appropriately before sketching.
Is that possible? I have tried using the "Substitute" command via the CAS panel without success.
Thank you!

(Type the expressions for x(t) and y(t) in the input boxes)
