CompleteSquare(a x^2-4 x) produces something strange.
The same happens in also GeoGebra 5 and 6.

The x is missing, I see.
The displayed coefficients are not bad, but need simplification and the sign of -16/4a is wrong.
So maybe a(ax-2/a)^2 +4/a should be better to see in that output row ;)
Thank you, I'm looping this to the developers.
se ha duplicado abajo
(siempre negativo) a(ax-2/a)^2 - 4/a porque el ultimo termino del desarrollo del cuadrado es positivo y debe ser anulado por el siguiente sumando
Wolfram Alpha say:
https://www.wolframalpha.co...
CompleteSquare(a x^2 - 4 x) --> a (x - 2/a)^2 - 4/a
.
and GGB say:
a x^2 - 4 x == a (x - 2/a)^2 - 4/a --> true
.
and I say
maybe both are wrong but it's not possible that both are correct
Thanks, we'll check!
