CAS NSolve sineequation for given interval
Not a Problem
Hi.
We have encountered a problem solving a sineequation for a given xinterval.
The exact solution works fine, but not the numerical solution.
WORKS:
 Solve[{sin(x) = 0.28, x>=0, x<pi}]
GIVES QUESTION MARK ONLY
 NSolve[{sin(x) = 0.28, x>=0, x<pi}]
Is there a reason for this? Or a quick fix?
( Løs[] and NLøs[] are Norwegian commands for Solve[] and NSolve[] )
Geogebra 5.0.321.0, MacOS
Thanks in advance. :)

ps or this with the Numeric Evaluation Tool
Sorry, this syntax is wrong, please see https://wiki.geogebra.org/e...
This is the correct syntax :)
ps or this with the Numeric Evaluation Tool
Tanks. So there is no way to make cas evaluate all the numerical values of the asines within the given interval? When Solve[{sin(x) = 0.28, x>= 0, x < 4pi}] gives four solutions, NSolve[sin(x) = 0.28, x=1] gives only one.
It is of course no BIG deal, as one could always do it manually, but it would be a nice feature.
:)
Sorry, now I understood what you meant! Thanks a lot!
