In the attachment,
1. Rename the conic "eq1" to something different.
2. Delete the conic.
3. "Undo" the deletion.
There are now two conics instead of one.
I have only tested this in GeoGebra 5.

If you want to rename a CAS View object, just change it's definition in the CAS View
