CAS 5.0.341.0

Solved

Hallo zusammen...

1.

K_t:=((x,y,z)-M)^2 - r_t^2=0

Are you using Linux?

Please post your .ggb file

Win10

BTW: Line 5 and 6: Addressing list by index does not work? This feature is also comming back...

Please use Element[T,2] not T(2) in the CAS View

Thanks, we'll check the sphere/quadric problem: https://jira.geogebra.org/b...

I can't see a problem with tooltips or brackets - please can you post a screenshot showing the problem?

A term like

( spdP1 + sumP1*spdP2 + sumP1*sumP2*spdP3) / (sumP1*sumP2*sumP3)

RightClick Copy and Paste (e.g to Tabcalc)

(((spdP3 * sumP1) * sumP2) + (spdP2 * sumP1) + spdP1) / (((sumP1 * sumP2) * sumP3))

shows a lot of unnecessary brackets - makes the term unreadable in complex terms

placing mouspointer to cell. a tooltip shows the term without unnecessary brackets - should be possible to put this version to clipbpoard? I reported this bug about a year a go, I think you fixed it and come back some weeks a go?

-

translating vectors has been working in former versions.

List indexing has been working in former version.

Doing matrix calculations is more then ugly by Element(foobar) - should be possible to be closer to mathematical writing?

Sorry, I don't think we'll change the brackets. You can get the shorter form with eg

  1. #1

then double-click.

The vectors probably "worked" in an older version where they weren't implemented in the CAS (so the command was just sent on to the Input Bar)

Vectors were added to the CAS in 5.0.49.0 http://wiki.geogebra.org/en...

ps translating vectors is not supported in the CAS View, please use the Algebra View

The sphere/quadric problem will be fixed in the next release (5.0.354.0)

Hi Michael,

thamk you I will try...

change the unnecessary brackets problem - please

Your hint do not really work

#1

will have missing multiply-signs - not to handle e.g in Tabcalc

Let die the tooltip feature and put this term to clipboard. The tooltip is really unnecessary and

/h+5yL6QQ+GslAAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==

pointing with mouse to a term tooltip is corrupting the information...

The problem isn't fix it has changed.

In this example I want to calculate different scenes changing E_1:

Adding Line 9, 10 sphere and E_1 droped from grafic window and K-sphere and E_1 set to undefined in aglebra window. Variables gInK, gt going to undefined. Going thru Line 1 und 2 reinput (hitting Enter) 3D window was repainted with sphere now named K_1. K_1 and E_1 painted and calculated.

To change E_1 I have to change n and a in algebra windwos, this will have no effect - I have to reenter Line 2 get E_1 painted und calculated.

Every change of the model via M, n , a will have different effects that corrupt the calculation model - see different K-variables set to undefined ...

n and a seem to be after E_1 in the Construction Protocol. Does moving them to before E_1 help?

Aaah I can edit the Construction Protocol - fine...

Playing around with, I can get rid of new defined K_i-variables and restore K.

E_1 is now correct calculated by changing n or a, but K does not recalculate changing M!

Looks good...

Any thing I can do to fix my file?

Thank you!

I edited the XML. Probably easiest to start the file again and make sure you create the AV objects before you use them in the CAS
