Can inequalities be used in 3D graphs?

I have learned how to show a plane in 3D, such as x=3.

I would like to show the volume for x<3. How might that be done?

There is no direct drawing of such volume x<3. All you can do is create maybe a polyhedron that can (partially) represent this volume.
