You are using the Spline command wrong. It needs a list of points, so you want

Spline({G, H, I, J, K, ...})

(You tried it with list of length 1, containing a sum of segments.)

You can get the length via

Length(s, 0, 1)

where s is the spline.

Btw, it might be more convenient to auto-generate (via Sequence) all the points and segments instead of manually defining them. That would even allow to use a slider to change the number of points on the fly. Attached is an example.
