* If you by "maintained" mean kept on server, yes, both versions will be maintained forever. Maybe you have heard that development of 3.2 will stop -- that's true.

* Planned release date of 4.0 is really August, see newsletter http://www.geogebra.org/en/...

* We strongly hope no "throwing away" of files will be necessary. If your feeling is given by some particular files, we strongly encourage you to put them on the forum so that we can get 100% compatibility.

@Daniel: your file will be possible to open in next release. Thanks a lot for reporting the bug.

Hi,

there were two bugs: one causing the file loading really slow and second causing it not load at all. I fixed the second -- the infinite loop is finite here, but takes ~1 minute.

HI Kondr

Hi,

there were two bugs: one causing the file loading really slow and second causing it not load at all. I fixed the second -- the infinite loop is finite here, but takes ~1 minute.

What's bugs exactly and why the openning is so long?May be, I can try an other way to do this file.

The bug I found was that e.g. for f(x)=If[x>0,x] LaTeX output caused exception (e.g. in FormulaText[f]) and since LaTeX is now the default display method in Algebra View, this exception happend in your file).

I haven't yet explored the second bug (slow loading).
