Arc of a hyperbola

I have a hyperbola in Geogebra and I'd like to select a part of it - an arc - and make that arc line dotted or dashed.


For ellipses and circles it's a piece of cake, but for the hyperbola it's a pain!! Is there any way of achieving this?


What I'd like is basically an extension of the Arc command => HArc[Hyperbola, Start Point, End Point]

with curve :

with f(x) = hyperbola ,

then :

Curve[t, f(t), t, Xmin, Xmax]

one solution more:

create a Polyline[] between 2 points on a hyperbola.


you can copy the only one object (the blue here) an change the object names

Polyline[Sequence[Point[<hyperbola>, n], n, PathParameter[<Point1>], PathParameter[<Point2>], (-(PathParameter[<Point1>] - PathParameter[<Point2>])) / 249]]


or you can use as macro.
