Applet viewable when html file downloaded, but not in LMS.

When attempting to view an applet, the GeoGebra logo will appear with the little spinner icon below it, but nothing further will happen.
If I check my browser console, I'll see a bunch of errors like:
Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at http://www.geogebra.org/web.... (Reason: CORS header “Access-Control-Allow-Origin” missing).
However, if I download the html file and view the file, then the applet will load properly.
What do I need to change so the applet will work from within my LMS?

Which LMS? Can you provide a link?
The LMS is Moodle. I don't have a public link, but I can attach the file. All we're doing is serving the HTML file to students.
