Accesible Applet's
Hi there,
I am trying to make my site accesible (regarding w3c rules) and i notice the following directive:
Quoting:
------------------------
"Make programmatic elements such as scripts and applets directly accessible or compatible with assistive technologies (...)
If an applet (created with either OBJECT or APPLET) requires user interaction (e.g., the ability to manipulate a physics experiment) that cannot be duplicated in an alternative format, make the applet directly accessible. (...)
For more information about developing accessible applets, please refer to [http://trace.wisc.edu/world...] and [http://www-03.ibm.com/able/...]. These companies have been developing an Accessibility API as well as making the Java Swing classes accessible."
-------------------
So the question is: Are ggb applets "accesible"?
Thanks in advance!
Daniel
Hi Daniel
I've made the links live - to make them more accessible
The second link was dead - I've supplied its menu page.
http://trace.wisc.edu/world/java/java.htm
http://www-03.ibm.com/able/
No matter. - Thanks for the posting.
