A Javascript error occurred in the main process

Not a Problem

I downloaded Geogebra 6.0.382 från the main download page and when I runt the file I downloaded the error window occur: A Javascript error occurred in the main process

What's wrong? I'm using Windows 10 pro Education.

Instructions:

Delete this folder:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\GeoGebra 5.0

This is a hidden folder, so can be hard to find. One way is to

press <Windows>R and then copy and paste this (changing

<username> to your Windows username)

explorer /n, /e, /select, C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\GeoGebra 5.0

then right-click -> Delete

I deleted the folder but It didn't help me :(

Could the problem occur just because of my version of windows 10?

I don't think so.

But I'm sorry, I gave you the wrong link, it's the one related to the Classic version of GeoGebra (no harm anyway, this is a folder that is automatically rebuilt by ggb).

The Roaming folder related to v.6 is

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\GeoGebra

In the meanwhile you can use the online version of v.6 by clicking the + icon on top right of this Forum page, and selecting Start GeoGebra

J'ai supprimé le dossier suggéré, rien n'a changé.

Bonjour

J'ai rencontré plusieurs fois ce problème. Voici comment je l'ai résolu, sur mon poste sous Windows 7.

Ouvrir le dossier C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\GeoGebra_6 (remplacer <username> par le nom utilisé sur votre système.)

Ce dossier contient lui-même plusieurs dossiers correspondant à chaque mises à jour de GeoGebra et dont les noms sont du type app-6.0.xxx (par exemple app-6.0.503).

Supprimer les anciennes versions et ne garder que la dernière. (Si cette solution ne marchait pas, ces dossiers pourraient être restaurés à partir de la corbeille.)

Ouvrir le dossier non supprimé, correspondant à la dernière version. Il contient le fichier GeoGebra.exe

Cliquer droit dessus pour en créer un raccourci.

Couper ce raccourci et le coller sur votre bureau.

Double cliquer sur ce raccourci pour lancer GeoGebra.
